Selected as the winner of The Review, a complex and annual scholarship program, Koiya is ripped from her life in the slums and placed into The Academy. An advanced high school that gives her the opportunity to live among the royalty and presidential families of the old world.

 

But when the world is divided into those in the gleaming towers and those in the ruins that expand along what's left of the earth, how could anything simply be a coincidence? With criminals ruling the society below and political unrest reaching its peak since the floods, Koiya and the others of the Academy must reveal the truth of their world.
